Terms of Service

The following Terms of Service are subject to change at any time. By choosing to commission me, Terabites, you, as the commissioner, are agreeing to comply with the ones set at the time of requesting.By commissioning me, you are confirming that you understand that the product will be sent to you as a digital file ONLY, in a .png and/or .jpg format. Sizing can be discussed, but if there's no specific preference, I will be working in A4 at 350 dpi.

GENERAL:

I am open to all kinds of artwork. However, commissions including the below themes will take up an even bigger amount of time since I have had limited practice with them. Thus, I am not willing to proceed with commissions including:- NSFW, in the context of pornography.- Furry (Animal characteristics like noses, ears, antlers/horns are okay!)- Mecha and complex robots.- Political figures or anything pertaining to politics.- Discriminatory/hateful art of any kind.

PAYMENT & PRICES:

How payments, fees, refunds and cancellations are processed depend largely on the platform it is done. The below are indicative procedures, in the case of no involvement from third parties (like Etsy or Artistree). For accurate pricing, as well as commission information, please move to Etsy or Artistree.- Payment will be completed exclusively through Etsy/Artistree (depending on which platform you found me on), with the currency accepted being Euros (EUR). Payment is either 100% upfront or in two installments. At least 50% of the price is necessary for me to start working on a commission.- Prices may vary widely for each individual case. Highly complex pieces take up much more time and the price goes up accordingly, as well as the time taken for your commission to be finished. Prices may also be subject to change according to demand.- Tips are not necessary, but highly appreciated <3

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:

Once again, please refer to platforms policies regarding this section. Below are indicative procedures, in the case of no involvement from third parties (like Etsy or Artistree).The commissioner is not allowed a FULL refund once I have started working on the commission. Depending on the stage during the commission, you are entitled to a percentage of the full amount. For example: at the early stages of the sketch, you can get up to a 95% refund. Anything later than that and the percentage you receive back becomes lower.

REFERENCES:

In order for the finished product to align more with your expectations, references are crucial! I will need references for your character or a character sheet, or perhaps pose references you have in mind. Intricate clothes and props also need some, if included in your commission! I love getting to know people's characters so sending me mood boards and/or character playlists is also encouraged!If you're not able to provide more references, or are unsure about a certain aspect of the character, you can contact me and we can brainstorm together!

REVISIONS:

You are allowed revisions at any time, with an additional fee if it is at the final stages. This fee depends on how much time it takes for me to fix, as well as how big of a change it is.WIPs are sent regularly as I move along the commission, so I will be keeping you updated throughout. You are encouraged to share your honest thoughts and opinions at every stage.However, if there has been a misunderstanding on my part, revisions will be free.

COPYRIGHT & USAGE:

I, Terabites:- Reserve the right to cancel and refund the order at any time for any reason.- Retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork.- Reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online, in my portfolio, as well as in publications, such as art books.You, as the commissioner:- May upload the finished artwork on social media, or as a profile picture or icon, but you must also credit me somewhere visible.- May print it out for personal use ONLY.- May NOT claim it as your own.- May NOT alter or remove any part of the artwork, including the watermark or signature.- May NOT use my work commercially, or make any profit off of my work (reselling, redistributing, uploading to POD-services, making prints for selling, etc.) without my explicit consent.- May NOT use it for NFT and/or other crypto-based platforms.- May NOT use it for any AI purposes, in any context whatsoever. Art is inherently human.- Retain the Intellectual Property (IP) of your own respective characters.The following is considered copyright infringement:- Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially; which means making money off it in any way not excluded from these terms.- Claiming the artwork as your own.- Altering or removing any part of the artwork without my consent.
